Terms of Use

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern the rights and obligations between Looflash and the users of the Looflash mobile application ("App").

By downloading, creating an account for, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, you should not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Looflash is a mobile application designed to support foreign language vocabulary learning. Users can create and study their own flashcard sets, and may use AI-powered features (e.g., automatic set generation, example sentence generation) to enhance the learning process.

3. Account Creation and Use

• Some features of the App may require creating an account or verifying device identity.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity that occurs through it.

4. AI-Generated Content

• Flashcard sets, example sentences, and similar content within the App may be generated automatically using AI services.
• AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate. Looflash makes no guarantee regarding the grammatical, semantic, or translation accuracy of generated content.
• Users should evaluate AI-generated content at their own discretion and consult additional sources for critical learning decisions.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

• The App's design, software, interface, and brand elements belong to Looflash and are protected under copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
• Rights to the flashcard sets and content you create belong to you; however, you permit this content to be processed (e.g., for syncing, backup, AI processing) as necessary to provide the App's functionality.
• Content generated through third-party AI services within the App may be subject to the terms of use of the relevant service provider.

6. User Obligations and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose,
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent the App's security measures (e.g., rate limiting, device verification),
• Use automated access (bots, scripts, etc.) that places unreasonable load on the App's infrastructure,
• Create or share content that infringes on the rights of others.

Looflash reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account without prior notice in the event of a violation of these obligations.

7. Privacy and Data Use

The App may process limited device and usage data as necessary to provide and improve the service. This data is used to operate the service, prevent misuse, and enhance the user experience.

• Your data is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
• Your data may only be shared with infrastructure providers to the extent necessary to operate the service.
• You may request deletion of your data through the in-app settings.

8. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Service

• Looflash reserves the right to modify, temporarily suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature of the App, with or without prior notice.
• The App relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers; Looflash is not liable for service disruptions resulting from outages or changes to these services.
• You may delete your account or stop using the App at any time through in-app settings.
• In the event of a violation of this Agreement, a user's account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Looflash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
• Looflash shall not be liable for damages resulting from decisions made based on AI-generated content.

10. Changes to This Agreement

Looflash may update this Agreement from time to time. Continuing to use the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
